That said, it's time for some truth-telling. I'm not bashing your art, because it's beautiful, but...
...let's be honest. Riot did not steal your idea. You had the idea to make a Sona in Chinese styled garb and you spent (perhaps) a few hours doing so. Riot had the idea to make a set of themed skins for the upcoming Chinese New Year (in conjunction with the Ahri release, which was a dedication to Korean players following the release of Riot Point purchase options in their region) and spent /weeks/ doing so. You seem to be under the impression that the moment Riot has an idea for a skin, it is suddenly conjured into existence for them to implement. The truth is that every skin must be mapped, drawn and rendered; have particle effects and textures added; then it is tested for glitches, errors, flaws, etc. before finally being released to the public.
You say you posted the original line-art for this in December. Odds are, Riot has been working on this project since Halloween.
